Indigo is India’s low-cost passenger carrier. Indigo was founded in 2006 as a private company by Rakesh Gangwal and Rahul Bhatia. At Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi, the Indigo headquarters is located.

The company has a 41.3 percent stake in the domestic passenger market. Indigo is the lowest carrier in Asia and the seventh largest carrier. Domestic flights with 51 domestic and 15 international flights operate.

With low-cost services being a carrier, Indigo offers just Economy Class Seating. To keep the fares low, Indigo does not even provide complimentary meals on its flights.

Joureny With VIjayawada Airport

Indigo successfully started its journey with Vijayawada Airport. The same day, 10 services have been launched from Vijayawada Airport to Hyderabad, Bangalore, and Chennai.

Among those ten services, Hyderabad has three, Bengaluru one and Chennai have a non-stop service. Another specialty is that Vijayawada has started its international career with Indigo. Vijayawada Airport has begun its international journey by launching Indigo Air Lines flight to Singapore.
